Are you interested in working for Diboll ISD?
Diboll ISD accepts professional, para-professional, clerical and substitute teacher applications through an electronic process, Region 7 Education Service Center Online Application Consortium.
You will need to create an account with a username and password when you first begin. After you have completed your application, you may apply for any open position with Diboll ISD. While logged-in click on the Jobs tab and select the jobs for which you would like to apply. If you do not see the job posted you may need to change your application type, ex: Administrative, Professional or Classified. Once your account has been created, you may return to update your application, add attachments, or view your application as needed or apply for additional jobs as they are posted.

  • Food Service - Cook/Assistant Cook
    Minimum qualifications: High school education/GED (preferred) and Angelina County Food Handlers Certificate; ability to follow verbal instructions; ability to understand food preparation and safety instructions; working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures; ability to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools; ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

    Be at least 18 years old.
    Have a commercial driver's license (CDL) along with school bus and passenger endorsements.
    Pass annual physical fitness and mental health exams.
    Pass a background check on your driving record.

    Own a certificate proving that you're either enrolled in or have successfully completed a course in school bus safety education.

Before applying through Region 7 ESC Online Application Consortium, please read the following information carefully:
  • Completed applications will be kept active for one year
  • Please be sure all contact data is accurate. An automated email will be sent to the email address you provide confirming the completion of your online application. Therefore, you do not need to contact the Human Resources Department or the campuses for additional confirmation. If you have a spam blocker, please allow it to receive email from the district.
  • All applicants must have a complete application to be considered for the position applied.
  • Not all applicants may be selected for an interview.
To be considered as an applicant, all certifications, licenses, and NCLB criteria (if applicable) must be met. Applicants shall complete an online application, appropriate to the job for which he or she is applying. The online application is required for professional and paraprofessional job vacancies. You must attach your application to the job posting for which you are interested in. Applications remain active for one year.

Supporting Documentation
Cover letters and resumes must be scanned and attached electronically with your application for a complete packet. Emailed documents or mailed hard copies of cover letters, resumes, letters of recommendation, transcripts, etc. will not be accepted.

Hiring Practices
Upon receipt of these documents your online application will be reviewed and considered for a Human Resources screening interview. Diboll ISD follows site-based hiring practices. Therefore, the selection decisions are made by campus committees rather than through the Human Resources office. However, please do not contact the campuses regarding employment. You will be contacted should an interview be desired. At least three reference checks are required before a recommendation for employment is submitted to the superintendent. The Diboll ISD Board of Trustees maintains the authority to employ all contracted personnel, upon recommendation of the superintendent. The superintendent has the authority to employ all non-contracted (at-will) personnel.

DISD reserves the right to not fill positions if it is determined by the Superintendent to not be in the best interest of the district.
