Cassidy Wynne named Head Coach of Diboll Ladyjack Softball

"Cassidy Wynne grew up and graduated from Huntington High School in 2011. After graduating, she continued her softball career at Angelina College, where she played for two years and was named Second Team All-Conference after the 2013 season. She then finished her student-athlete career at Stephen F. Austin State University, playing for the SFASU LadyJacks and graduating in May of 2016. After graduating college, she accepted her first coaching position with Hudson High School and assisted with the Lady Hornet Basketball and Softball programs for 3 years. After leaving Hudson, she married her husband, Colton Wynne and moved to the Houston area where she continued coaching as a Private Softball Instructor for D-BAT, The Woodlands, an indoor training facility. After the world was hit by COVID-19, Coach Wynne accepted an assistant coaching position for the LadyJacks Softball Team for these last 2 years, making it all the way to the State Finals in 2021 and Regional Semi-Finals in the 2022 season. Coach Wynne and her husband are now expecting their first child this Fall."

"I am truly grateful and excited to be the Head Softball Coach for the Diboll LadyJacks. I have had amazing opportunities to learn from two great head coaches so far during my coaching career and I hope to continue the winning tradition at Diboll, started by Coach Hayland Hardy. My goal for this program is to not only better each individual player, but to better ourselves as a team and continue growing our program for the future LadyJacks to come."
