Mr. Herrera has served as the Diboll Junior High Director for the past two years. During that time, the Junior High band more than doubled in size and he led the band to a 2021 UIL Sweepstakes, the first in the history of Diboll Junior High. Mr. Herrera earned a Bachelors degree in music and a masters degree in Music Performance Pedagogy from Stephen F. Austin University. Mr. Herrera stated, "I am very excited to be leading the Diboll Lumberjack Band. I hope to continue the culture of success that has been created in the Diboll Band Program."
