Mission Statement
 
 
The mission of the Diboll Family Education Center is to provide families Integrated Literacy Services that promote the academic progress of parents and provide skills needed to ensure that the parent is the child's first teacher thus empowering them to become effectively involved in the school and community.  The center provides lifelong, continuous learning for a diverse adult population enabling them to overcome barriers in the lives of themselves and their family.  The staff strives to ensure once students leave the program they are successful in completing their GED, obtain college entrance, trade school, and or employment for SUCCESS. 
 
Program Components
-Adult Education-learner focused classes
-Parenting Education-monthly tips/classes for parents to help their children improve academically and socially. To involve both the parent and child in a learning activity. 
-Early Childhood Education Classes-readiness and motor/sensory development classes for children.
 
Diboll Family Education Center continues to be funded locally by grants and donations.
