Dr. Andre Emmons has over 15 years of experience in education. He has served in a variety of positions including Classroom Teacher, Coach, Testing Coordinator, Athletic Coordinator, and Assistant Principal at Diboll High School.
Dr. Emmons earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of North Texas. He went on to earn a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin University (SFASU), and in 2019 he earned a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from SFASU.
Dr. Emmons is married to Annysue Emmons, a local nurse practitioner, and they have two boys AJ and Alex who both attend school in Diboll. Dr. Emmons serves as the Youth Pastor at St. Thomas Spirit and Truth Ministries in Diboll. He and his family are very active in the community and have a heart for serving.
Dr. Emmons stated, as the principal of Diboll High School, I look forward to the opportunity to serve the students and staff, as well as the community of Diboll. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stated, “Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.
