Technology Plan

Diboll Independent School District has prepared this District Technology Plan to articulate a common vision for technology use in the district and to identify the strategies that will help advance technology to improve the academic achievement, including technology literacy, of all students. The plan will address ways to improve the technology skills of teachers so they will be able to integrate the use of technology effectively into curriculum and instruction. It will also include strategies for maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure in order to continue to address technology needs in the classroom. Diboll is committed to providing the tools necessary for students to gain and maintain technology skills and to provide a challenging curriculum for students who want to take their training beyond basic competencies This plan presents the current and planned hardware, software, telecommunications, and training necessary to deliver these opportunities to our students and staff.
