Congratulations to Mr. Todd Dock, Diboll ISD Director of Bands. Mr. Dock has been selected for the prestigious High School Arts Teacher Excellence Award presented by the Northeast Texas Arts for Learning Association. The Arts in Education Award honors the true heroes of the arts and the High School Arts Teaching Excellence Award is presented to an arts educator who has gone above and beyond in their field.
Mr. Dock will be honored at the Arts in Education Celebration Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Willowbrook Country Club in Tyler, Texas.
The Diboll School District is immensely proud of Mr. Dock for receiving this prestigious and well deserved honor. During his tenure at Diboll ISD he has provided transformational leadership to our band program with his focus on excellence and teamwork. Under his direction, the band has grown from 40 members to over 100, mighty marching Lumberjacks, has received 2 UIL Sweepstakes awards and has represented the school district and community with honor and pride.
